Join the Hampton Roads Embassy Suites team as a Breakfast Attendant, where you are the cornerstone of our guest experience by delivering delightful and memorable breakfast service!

Your role is pivotal in setting the tone for each guest's day, ensuring they start with a smile and satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with the kitchen staff to maintain an inviting and well-stocked buffet while engaging warmly with guests, addressing their needs and queries promptly.

Responsibilities

  • You will maintain a clean and welcoming dining area by regularly wiping down tables, chairs, and surfaces to ensure guest comfort and hygiene.
  • We expect you to prepare and set up the breakfast buffet with fresh food items according to hotel standards, ensuring variety and quality for all guests.
  • You shall monitor food supplies during breakfast hours, promptly restocking items as necessary to prevent any shortages or inconveniences.
  • We rely on you to interact positively with guests by answering questions about menu items, accommodating special requests, and providing information about hotel services.
  • We expect you to adhere to health and safety regulations by following proper food handling procedures and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment when required.
  • You will collaborate with kitchen staff to receive and store delivered food items, ensuring everything is organized and accessible for efficient service.
  • We trust you to operate and manage breakfast-related equipment such as coffee machines and toasters, performing basic troubleshooting if issues arise.
  • You shall assist in cleaning up after breakfast service by clearing dishes, disposing of waste properly, and preparing the space for future meal services.

Requirements

  • You must demonstrate excellent customer service skills to create a welcoming and pleasant dining experience for our guests.
  • Your role requires the ability to set up, maintain, and break down breakfast buffet stations efficiently to ensure timely availability of food items.
  • You should communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate supply needs and address any potential issues promptly.
  • We require you to uphold strict hygiene and cleanliness standards in the dining area, consistently maintaining an inviting environment for all guests.
  • You need to replenish food and beverage items regularly during the breakfast service to guarantee their freshness and accessibility.
  • You are expected to assist guests with special dietary requirements or requests, ensuring their needs are met courteously and accurately.
  • We ask you to handle guest inquiries about menu offerings confidently and provide information on local attractions if needed.
  • You must be capable of managing inventory levels by monitoring stock and notifying management when supplies run low.
