Starting Hourly Pay: $20.00

Status: Part-Time

Work Performed: 

The In-House Audio Visual Technician for banquets and events will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments: 

• Manages audio-visual equipment for banquets and events for multipurpose rooms, general floor conference rooms, and other meeting spaces and adapts to event changes
• Understand audio prepping, rigging, power system capabilities, and general usage.
• Ensure all sets and strikes are completed according to Banquet Event Orders
• Test cables, audio-visual equipment, perform sound checks
• Set up and breakdown equipment per Banquet Event Order instructions, including audio-visual equipment, and all other event provisions; 
• Operate, and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment, projectors, laptops, speakers, microphones, and lighting
• Ensure proper functioning of cameras, microphones, speakers, and displays in all designated areas
• Ensure all inventory is in good working order and rental condition
• Ensure any lost, stolen, or damaged equipment is reported to management
• Ensure equipment is secure from theft/damage
• Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needs and provide excellent customer service to all guests; 
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; and 
• Any other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. 

Qualifications and Experience:

Knowledge of network connectivity, digital signal flow, troubleshooting systems, and equipment

6 months of Audio Video Services for medium to large groups 

Education: 

High School diploma or equivalent  

Required Licenses/ Certification: 

Food Safety certificate or complete training during the initial 90 days. 

Alcohol certification or complete training during the initial 90 days.  

Physical: 

Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 lbs. 

Ability to bend and squat repeatedly Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift 

Other: 

Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Calificaciones y experiencia:

6 meses de servicios de audio y vídeo para grupos medianos y grandes  Educación:  Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente   Licencias/Certificación requeridas: 

Certificado de Seguridad Alimentaria o formación completa durante los 90 días iniciales. 

Certificación de alcohol o capacitación completa durante los 90 días iniciales.   Físico:  Capacidad para levantar, tirar y empujar hasta 50 libras. 

Capacidad para agacharse y ponerse en cuclillas repetidamente

Capacidad para caminar y estar de pie durante el turno programado 

Otro:  Flexible para días laborables, madrugadas, tardes, noches, fines de semana y festivos
