Join our dynamic team at the East Peoria Embassy Suites and deliver exceptional dining experiences as a Banquet Server! Our banquet servers ensure guests have an outstanding experience by providing prompt, courteous, and professional service. You’ll be responsible for everything from greeting guests to ensuring seamless table service and a memorable visit.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of banquet spaces, before, during and after events.  

  • Maintain communication with the guest contact person for guest needs and provide excellent customer service to all guests.  

  • Serve all food and beverages to guests per company standards.  

  • Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation. 

  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management.  

  • Complete any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Bring your prior serving experience - 6 months serving medium to large groups preferrable. 

  • Preferably have high school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Have required certification or obtain it during initial 90 days - includes Food and Alcohol Safety. 

  • Willingness and ability to lift, pull and push up to 50 lbs., to bend and squat repeatedly, and to walk and stand for duration of scheduled shift. 

  • Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
