Job Description
This role offers the flexibility to work in a hybrid environment based in Alpharetta, GA, or fully remote.
What You Will Do:
- Design and implement accounting standards and SOPs aligned with USALI and GAAP—keeping us accurate and audit-ready.
- Guide the monthly reporting process, ensuring timely and materially accurate financials for stakeholders.
- Lead a high-performing team by developing talent, supporting performance, and modeling our Core Values.
- Partner cross-functionally with operators, vendors, and corporate teams to support financial and operational goals.
- Oversee accounting systems, internal controls, and partner with treasury services to ensure smooth, efficient operations.
What We Are Looking For:
- 8+ years in accounting and 4+ years leading hospitality accounting teams— because hotel finance comes with unique complexities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, providing the strong foundation this role requires.
- Deep knowledge of GL, AP, payroll and hotel-level financial transactions.
- Strong experience with balance sheets, account reconciliations, and banking reconciliations.
- Experience with third-party management and multiple properties— with the ability to balance owner expectations, brand standards, and competing deadlines.
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; experience with Sage, ProfitSage, Workday, FloQast, and accounting automation tools is a strong plus.
