Responsibilities

  • You shall ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned thoroughly and stored in their designated places to maintain an organized workspace.
  • We expect you to diligently operate the commercial dishwasher and perform regular maintenance checks to ensure its efficient functioning.
  • You will adhere to all health and safety guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and sanitizing kitchen areas.
  • We rely on your attention to detail when inspecting incoming dishware for cleanliness and returning any that do not meet our standards.
  • You shall assist with waste management by sorting recyclables and disposing of garbage appropriately to keep the kitchen environment clean.
  • We expect you to collaborate with kitchen staff to prioritize cleaning tasks based on operational needs and busy periods.
  • You will report any damaged or malfunctioning equipment to the supervisor promptly to minimize disruption to kitchen operations.
  • We count on your ability to multitask effectively during peak times, ensuring continuous availability of clean dishes and utensils.

Requirements

  • You must efficiently operate commercial-grade dishwashing machines to clean and sanitize various kitchenware, including plates, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans.
  • We require you to manually scrub larger kitchen items when necessary to ensure they are free of residue before machine washing.
  • You should safely store cleaned dishes and equipment in their designated areas to maintain an organized kitchen environment.
  • We expect you to regularly monitor the levels of detergents and cleaning chemicals and replenish them as needed to guarantee proper sanitation procedures.
  • You are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the dishwashing area, including sweeping and mopping floors as required.
  • Your role includes promptly disposing of kitchen waste, such as food scraps and recyclables, following our waste management protocols.
  • You need to collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to prioritize tasks and ensure a smooth workflow across all operations.
  • We ask that you adhere to all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective gear at all times to prevent accidents or injuries.
