Availability: 2nd Shift/Sat & Sun and 1st Shift/Mon&Tues (32 hrs per week)

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. You will use action verbs like "clean," "sanitize," and "maintain" to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are met. 

Collaborating closely with our housekeeping team, you will work together to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in meeting our guests' expectations.

Responsibilities

  • You shall ensure cleanliness and tidiness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
  • We expect you to maintain a high standard of presentation by regularly sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
  • You will be responsible for dusting furniture, fixtures, and equipment in public areas.
  • We expect you to clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces to ensure they are spotless and streak-free.
  • You shall replenish supplies such as towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms as needed.
  • We expect you to empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly.
  • We expect you to promptly report any maintenance issues or damages that require attention.

Requirements

  • As a Lobby Attendant at Holiday Inn Bowling Green, you must have the ability to multitask effectively and prioritize tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • You should be highly detail-oriented and have a keen eye for cleanliness in order to maintain our public areas to the highest standards.
  • We expect you to possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, as you will be interacting with guests and team members regularly.
  • Your role requires strong physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, pushing carts, and standing for long periods of time.
  • We value your proactive nature and initiative-taking abilities in identifying and addressing any maintenance or repair issues within the public areas promptly.
  • It is important that you are customer-focused and committed to providing exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Reliability and punctuality are crucial qualities we seek in our Lobby Attendants as you will be responsible for completing tasks within specified timeframes.
