Restaurant Shift Leader

Join Our Team as a Restaurant Supervisor!

Primary Purpose: As a Restaurant Supervisor, your primary goal is to ensure guests have an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and Train: Supervise, direct, schedule, and train food and beverage associates.
• Guest Satisfaction: Exceed guest expectations throughout their restaurant and hotel experience.
• Problem Solving: Resolve operational and guest concerns quickly and independently, ensuring follow-through with appropriate managers.
• Daily Operations: Ensure all opening and closing side work is completed accurately each day.
• Team Support: Assist restaurant associates with their duties as needed.
• Health and Safety: Observe Health Department guidelines for food handling and sanitation to prevent cross-contamination, keeping sinks, side boards, and refrigerators clean and sanitized.
• Safety and Security: Follow all company safety and security policies, including reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks required to fulfill the primary purpose of the position.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of two years of server experience.
• At least one year of lead and/or supervisory experience.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Certifications:

• Food Safety Training certified or willing to become certified within the first 60 days of employment.
• Alcohol Awareness certified or willing to become certified within the first 60 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend and squat repeatedly.
• Ability to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shifts.

Other Requirements:

• Meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both written and oral.
• Flexibility to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
