Job Description
What You Will Do:
- Lead and schedule the stewarding team to ensure alignment with banquet and event needs.
- Train and supervise associates in proper sanitation, dishwashing, and equipment handling procedures.
- Oversee cleanliness and organization of all kitchen prep, dish, and storage areas in compliance with health standards.
- Manage dishware and service inventory, ensuring efficient usage and minimal loss or breakage.
- Support banquet operations by assisting with setup and breakdown of service equipment.
What We Are Looking For:
- Prior stewarding experience—ensures familiarity with cleaning processes, safety standards, and kitchen operations.
- 2+ years of supervisory or lead experience preferred—helps foster accountability and productivity within the team.
- Current ServSafe Certification—demonstrates commitment to food safety and regulatory compliance.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, bend, and walk for extended periods—essential for performing daily responsibilities.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays—key for supporting banquet and event operations.
